2 c flour
2 c sugar
1 tsp baking soda
1 c butter
4 Tbs cocoa
1 c water
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
Sift together dry ingredients, except for cocoa. Combine butter, cocoa, water and bring to a boil. Add wet mixture to dry and mix well. Add eggs, buttermilk and vanilla; beat well. Pour into a heavy 17-1/2 x 13 inch cookie sheet pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Do not over bake.
Icing
1/2 c butter
4 Tbs cocoa
6 Tbs buttermilk
3 1/2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
Boil butter, cocoa, and buttermilk. Then beat in powdered sugar and vanilla. Pour over hot cake.
