Sometimes it is really nice to have some simple tacos for dinner. But just because a meal is simple does not mean it has to lack flavor. These hamburger tacos are quick and delicious, and trust me when I say that I will never go back to a packet of taco seasoning and ground beef.
Enjoy!
Simple Tacos
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 medium onion, diced
1 lb ground beef
1 (10 oz) can Mexican style tomatoes with green chiles, drained
1 (15 oz) can black beans, drained
2 teaspoons chili powder
2 cloves garlic, minced
corn tortillas
- In a large sauce pan, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onions and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.
- Add meat and seasonings and cook until meat is cooked through. Then add beans and tomatoes and cook until heated.
- Serve over heated corn tortillas and toppings of your choice.
Looks delicious! I've never mixed in the beans and tomatoes like that before but it's a great idea and I'll have to try it!
