Crock Pot Chili

1 lb. ground beef
1 large onion, chopped
2 cloves garlic, crushed
1 tablespoon chili powder
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1 tablespoon cocoa
½ teaspoon red pepper sauce
1 (16-ounce) can whole tomatoes (undrained)
1(15 ½ ounce) can red kidney beans (undrained)

Cook and stir ground beef, onion, and garlic until beef is brown.  Combine in crock pot with remaining ingredients.  Cook on HIGH for 3 hours or LOW for 6 hours.  Thicken with cornstarch mixed with water before serving.  If desired, serve over Fritos corn chips or baked corn chips.  For healthier chili, omit or decrease amount of beef.  Doubling this recipe fits in a large crock pot.

*Double all the spices
